Da noch immer kein Werkverzeichnis für die Kompositionen von Johann Gottlieb Janitsch, dem Kontraviolonisten in der Hofkapelle Friedrichs II., vorliegt (zurzeit arbeiten Peter Thalheimer und Klaus Hofmann daran, eines zu erstellen, das in den nächsten Jahren veröffentlicht werden soll), sei auf folgende Publikationen hingewiesen, die sowohl Informationen zur Person als auch zum Werk Janitschs bieten: Thomas Fritzsch, «Johann Gottlieb Janitsch. Janitsch schuf auch ein Violakonzert, das aber leider nicht erhalten ist.
