Arthur Polson was a Canadian composer and violinist. Prokofiev and Shostakovitch are among his artistic inspiration. He acted as concertmaster for orchestras including the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, and CBC Winnipeg Orchestra. Polson's compositional oeuvre includes works for orchestra and chamber music. Among his artistic inspiration are the composers Prokofiev and Shostakovitch.
