Roberto Sierra is a Puerto Rican composer. Among his composition teachers were Györgi Ligeti. He is a professor at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. Sierra's music has been performed at venues including the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. His composition catalogue includes works for orchestra, voice, chamber music, as well as solo and duo works.
