In this etude Ulrich Leyendecker deals with the idea of relating heterogeneous elements to one another and transforming them into one another. A few, succinct segments develop into larger contexts. Their originally opposing modes of expression are increasingly merging into larger complexes. A design element that formally drives the development is a subliminal rumba rhythm. The dominant colours are natural single and double harmonics, whose rare interval combinations are only possible due to the scordature.
